    C4 2015

    1. Who is doing it?

2.Cannot find start time on the website.

    3.
This is the trail we made famous, home of our annual Cave Creek Cactus Classic mountain bike race. 24 miles of beautiful Sonoran desert, with 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Whoa cowboy, think you’re fast? Last year the race winner rode it in 1 hour and 36 minutes! Mortals should plan for 2 1/2 – 3 1/2 hours, bring plenty of water and $3 cash for entry to the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.
    Really????

It doesn't matter if you're a Man, Woman or BOTH (riding a tandem).

The race starts at 9am. I'll be there throwing eggs at the slackers...

Metal & coon best of luck. Looking forward to seeing how both of you do (especially you metal), given the rides you have been putting in.

We will see. I had to enter SS category as my geary frame broke. So we got an amateur SSer vs. serious one gearheads.

Kaolin is not racing. Reportedly T. Ament will be, however he has not registered yet. He's always a late register. Rumor also has it he will be racing with a 2:1 gearing on his SS. But, don't quote me boy; cause I ain't said sh!t...

Nope- he is announcing and running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Typical!

There was only one other SSer that raced 0.5 ratio in C4. And he did very well but that must hurt on the climbs. Tom just seems too chill for 0.5. but I only rode with him once.

BTW, when is a good time to line up so I can be like #50 in a start line. I don't want to get there too early and freeze my butt off standing around.

I am so glad they didn't slow down riders on Spur Cross Rd this year. It really unclogged the the trails.

I really had a good time hanging out there today. Cool vibe and its neat to have a race that starts and ends in a town setting rather than in the woods/desert once in awhile. Next year I will race it!
