    Bike Shop Recomendation (Tune Up)

Hey guys, I'm in North Phoenix, (North Valley Pkwy & Nortera) zip 85085. My 29er is in need of a tune up, front and rear shifting needs adjustment. Bike only has about 40 miles on it. Can you guys recommend an honest bike shop for me thats not too far? I came across this shop www.bikesdirectaz.com advertising a tune up? Thoughts or recomendations?

Heres the link to the advertisement.

Call Sunday Cycles at 480-440-2142. They are on the s/e corner of 32nd St and Bell and are a hub for mountain bikers in North Phx.

Just east of I17 and Happy Valley Road.

Exhale Bikes is just west of I17 on Bell Road

Most shops offer a free first tune up after 30 days, but I recommend learning to do it yourself. Park makes a fairly nice guide http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help

The closest shops to you are probably Exhale bikes (already mentioned I17 and Bell rd) and Bicycle Vibe. BV is up at Carefree Hwy and 27th Ave.

Check out Sunday Cycles over near Bell & 32nd (http://www.sundayproshop.com/). I just went through the whole process of trying to find a good LBS and went with Sunday Cycles for my new bike (Jet 9). So far Joe and his team deliver. Head there for your tune-up and they'll treat you right.

Well for convenience you have Bicycle vibe, I have had ok luck there but a bit further away is DNA,(Scottsdale) they have done me right many times. Can I just say I would not waste my time with the one mentioned just west of I-17 on Bell Rd. I won't mention they're name, have not been real happy with that shop. My 2cents

Downtown Cave Creek has Flat Tire, they are real friendly and will tune you up right, then you can eat at Bryan's for some excellent BBQ while you are in town.
