    BCT tomorrow (10/27)

I wanted to head to the BCT off New River tomorrow at ~10:00. I had 2 questions:

1 - Will the trails be ok after the rain yesterday (I am new to the area and have no idea what happens to the trails after rain in the desert, how long they take to dry, etc.)
2 - Does anyone want to hook up and show me around?

    Thanks
    Drew

Unless it was a really bad down pour the trail should be fine. Usually the rain helps to increase traction which is very beneficial in the dry, dusty, rocky conditions of the desert. Wish I could make the ride with you but I have to work. Drag
    have fun

Hit the trail today and had a blast. Got in ~20 miles with ~2000 ft of elevation gain. Super happy that a trail so nice is ~10 miles from the house. If anyone wants to hook up for a ride sometime, hit me up! Thanks for the replies.

Drew, if you're only 10 miles from BCT, you're luckier than most. You can ride over 60 miles north on mostly singletrack...really nice singletrack!

Do you have lights? I've been working like a dog lately and haven't ridden much unfortunately. But I can fit an evening ride in on most days.

I also live close to BCT, about 5 miles from one of the trailheads, let me know when your riding again.
