THU- My best friend and riding partner's new 2011 Session 88. I was at the shop to pick up a part and check his new rig while he is out of town. I have a 2012 on order and we are both REALLY looking forward to getting into the DH side of biking! So we should be joining the S Mtn crowd soon... Hope there is room for us.

Man, if I took a picture of every scorpion I've killed inside and outside my house I'd have LOADS of rep.

This Effer got me right between my big toe and the next to big toe. Can't I walk to the kitchen in the middle of the night without worrying about being attacked??

    AZ Picture Friday - 9-2-img_3533.jpg

I got medieval on his soon to be living the rest of his short ass life in agonizing pain, toe stabber over here. By that I mean I left him sitting in this bowl with a binder clip on his tail for a day or two while my foot regained feeling, then I took him outside and squashed him.

edit: I think I'm 1 whole point from a new chicklet, and I got stabbed! I wasn't just playing hide n seek with a blacklight!

How did you get it in the binder clip to begin with? I know I wouldnt be trying to clip things to the business end of a scorpion.

Once I realized I didn't have a 10" long splinter in my foot I figured, "crap, I think a scorpion just got me!", so I retrieved my trusty iPhone and used the flashlight to search the floor. When I found the focker, he nicely went into his "attack" posture, which is tail up over the body, ready to strike. Picked up the binder clip from the counter and "clip', right onto his tail. Game over.

Just the before work ride. Deem Hills, three directions on the compass, all before that thermonuclear ball in the sky makes its journey westward. I know, it’s us that rotates, Copernicus started it, Galileo paid for it.

Cool. Wasn't sure if you used some Photoshopping to make it look black lit.

I'm out a couple times a week with a black light looking for those pests. One of the dead I found outside on the wall and sprayed it. Then sat there and watched it writhe in the black light. It wasn't but a few seconds after spraying it that I noticed it had a cricket in it's claws. Hope it was a good last meal...

The Mrs won't get out of bed without some kind of footwear on. Me? I say if I am forced to wear shoes in my own house then the scorpions have won. I won't give them that satisfaction.
