    AZ Fat Tire tris

These things are a blast. Just like a regular tri except a MTB ride instead of road, and a trail run instead of road. I did both of the AZ Xterra races, which kicked my butt, but had fun. The DCB Adventure folks put on a good event and have 3 more sprint races planned for this season in Tempe. http://www.dcbadventures.com/new/index.php . So if you've ever wanted to tri a tri but the road biking turned you off, check these out!

I hear good things about these tris but I'm a cheap ass cuz the money has always kept me away from doing them. 25 bucks for a 3k swim, 55 bucks for a sprint/oly tri adds up after awhile...especially when u consider it can be had free.

    Anyway, ya swimming/riding/running is rad...

Now you have to be my booth babe -- you used to be my cute booth babe, now you'll be my cute-and-ripped booth hottie. Think you can pull together something either low-slung or tight by November?

Doing a tri, probably on dirt, is very high on my to-do list. The swimming wigs me out, unfortunately. My ears don't do well in the water. Might be a project this summer to get back into water and learn to swim with plugs.

Ah...I'll post this just for you Paul. I'm working on the ripped part. Actually, the training is my focus and the muscles are a nice by-product. Sorry...I don't know how to flex (need to learn that ). And I need to stand more perpendicular to the camera. But I do have flashy tan lines from the 1-piece swimmin suit that I wear to train in. Will this pic get you guys to come out and tri a Fat Tire tri?

I did my first sprint tri back in October of last year and now I'm hooked and training for a 1/2 Ironman that's on Oct. 30 in Tempe. When I started I couldn't swim more than 200 yds at a time. Now my workouts are 2000+ yds. So if I can do this, anyone can!

And I swim with ear plugs. Can't do it without them as I can't stand water sloshing around in my ears!

    Ahh...thank you.

I may need to kill Zach. Or at least cripple him.

Let me take you away from all this,
