Smile Any Trails close to Phoenix?

I'll be in Paradise Valley for Thanksgiving '08 and wanted to explore some of the trails out there. Are there local trails with good variety of riding styles nearby? Looking for single tracks, decent climbs, technical descents and all around exciting fun trails -- no fire roads please. I'd be interested in tagging along if anyone was planning on riding at that time.

    Appreciate the info. Thanks.

Smile I'm paying homage to my old idol.

Remember the huge spread on Harry doing a power slide with dirt everywhere in BMX Action (circa fall 81). I bought my first Diamond back then and got into racing bmx (82-84)... during the Harry Leary days with Eddie King --his brother Mike King would came out to our track when he wasn't racing in nationals.

Before they call it the "lookbacks" it was dubbed the "Harry Leary". Classic stuff, I was the only one at my track pulling em off with more than 180 cross-up.

    ahhh, those were the days!!!

I live very close to trail 100 and ride there several times a week. Shoot me an email when you're in the area and I'll show you around the trail system. Lots of good singletrack with rocky climbs and descents.
