    Any 24 Hour racers?

Iím excited for presidents weekend and the 20th edition of the event. This will be my first go at the event and, like an fool signed up as a solo

Any other riders heading out? Any tips for a first timer?

My two goals are to have fun and make new friends.

I am captain of a 5-rider co-ed team. I rode on a 4-man team last year. If you arenít trying to be competitive, indulge in the various festivities, eat well for fuel, and have fun! Check the weather forecast and pack accordingly as well. And absolutely plan to do a sunrise lap, it is amazing. Figure put your estimated lap time, divide by two, and start a lap that many minutes before sunrise. That will put you in the middle of the course which is easy and gives you time to enjoy the sunrise.

Its organized chaos, and it all works out. Bummed I will miss it this year. Make sure you get the tri-tip sandwich from the food truck. A-mazing.
