Mmm love that trail, best in Sedona IMO. Probably not good to see it advertised there but oh well. I doubt too many people spend much time on their website. There's nothing in the printed mag is there?

On a related topic. Did you see the writeup on NRA in decline magazine?......just kidding...

What an underwhelming video with less than exciting music choice and truly boring riding performance. They need to go out again with some non-Sidi-wearing AZers sporting armor and bigger bikes to see how this stellar trail can really be ridden!

you almost had me . Although media attention to NRA may actually work for us.

I did find mention of NRA in this IMBA trip report. Scroll down to the AZ log.

"User conflicts on the trails have been increasing with many hikers demanding trails be shut to cyclists."

Rad maybe we should demand the trails be closed to hikers?

Hell yes -----we need to get a group and rip on that thing and see who is the first to slid off the side of that cool trail ----( generally I am the first one to screw myself and slide off , -----but it would be fun !!! )
The thing just looks fun !!

I remember when they rode that, it was during a very rainy period so I'm sure that stuff was a bit more sketchy. Pretty sure the guy in front is carrying all the photo gear too, hence the super slow speed Gotta agree on that soundtrack...I'm hoping they used it due it being copyright free and not cuz they just really dig it

Ya HO rocks! Good thing they didn't find H o t H and some other gems, that would be a bummer. HO is always a good time, the end of it reminds me of porqupine rim a little. Some of the soft spots are getting eroded. Vid was boring.

I don't know, isn't there a rule against pilots and mechanics socializing?

You are correct about it raining that day. I rode with those guys and was really concerned that they were poking a long and were going to eat the big one on the steep slick rock section.

The rest of the group was pushing ahead to get off the steep section and I rode back towards Damifino to check if they had fallen of the trail. After riding back about 200 yards they met up with me. To say the least they were big s.

I told them the steep slick rock section might be slippery since it started to rain pretty heavy and some of the group was CONCERNED. These guys TOTALLY ignored my warning and rode everything like it was dry as a bone. At first I kept on saying be careful. After a couple minutes I could tell this guys were having a BLAST and I just STFU. I couldn't believe how fearless they were with those big packs of camera gear.

It was very rewarding for me to see them ride that section of trail w/o any issues. We actually passed some of the group who were walking slipping and sliding down the slick rock wearing hard plastic soled SIDIs.

Oh yeah! That last shot is the one I remember. Still can't imagine riding those sections in conditions like that (or walking 'em )

I just got my issue of BIKE. And there is a full page shot on page 93 of a woman riding Hangover. It's not an article on the trail though. I don't think it's the same day as this video, because it looks sunny.

Bike Magazine brings you a video of Sedona, Arizona's, Hangover trail. We had a chance to ride this point-to-point gem while previewing Magura's 2010 products....

seems like the idea of previewing those brakes was to hold them down the whole time they where riding lol...

I rode w/ her today. She rocked supermoto fully rigid. I believe that shot of her on HO was from last June.

Is it just me but the 12 chicks/1 dude article in that issure was lame?

Too funny! We rode with her over Mem. day weekend and she stomped us with the same bike. I'd probably do better if she were on that Kona The 12 chick/1 dude story was OK but I liked the individual stories better.

Although they didn't mention the trails by name, the Magura Press Camp was riding/taking pics on HO also which got pushed out to a bunch of publications.
