Alright you verbose bums, off the couch and VOTE CHAD!

Yep, our very own Azepicriderandrunner is in the Hell Ride finals. Go vote now!

He's a good technical rider, massively strong endurance rider, exemplary beer drinker, can cook a mean egg, drives a funny car, and is in general one of the nicest people I know.

Do it. The categorical imperative demands.

After all, how could you not? He's still trying to make up for being not as hot as me.

Here's the deal: you and all your friends, relatives, and acquaintances vote for Chad, and I'll move out of the state, thus making you one rider closer to best rider in Arizona.

    Eh?

Got my vote, good luck, although I don't envy anyone chasing Mark Weir for 80 miles on a 35lb bike with a single 36 tooth up front

Oh yeah, and while you're pedaling, he probably won't be

    Dave,
Thanks for the kind words and support. You are one damn hellova friend, a friend that will be missed when you leave for Montana. During the past year, it has been an honor to ride with you and other MTBERs during the past year. I read your email before I even saw the confirmation from Santa Cruz Bikes this evening. How did you know so quickly? So many more epics will have to be put on hold while you are doing your grad school, possibly the Canyonlandswith Alpackas! Great idea, BTW.

    Fellow MTBERs from Arizona,
I have ridden with many of you this past year, and it truly has been amazing, AZ Spring Fling, BCT Full Meal Deal, and other AES races. I entered this race with the hope of getting a new bike after such a defeat from the AZT 300. If nothing else comes of this contest, I have to admit that it is great to have such a community rally around. Speaking of community, come down to Mt Lemmon and ride with us and drink some damn good beer all in the name of fun mtbing.

If he wants his a** handed to him by a guy on a Santa cruz, no need for him to go all the way to Cali. I live here in Tucson, and I'll gladly oblige.
