23 hours to bootleg and back...

a few bros and I rallied up to das boot on friday night, caught some zzzz's at ABC's brothers house, picked up our new shuttle van and headed out for some breakfast. went to the Southwest Cafe just west of bootleg. ordered super large oj's and some killer potato pancakes and eggs.go there!!! with fuel in the tank we headed up for some runs. I've never been there before but after 3 killer runs, i'm now a junkie!!! so sick, it is definetly a mountain bike mecca! gnar, fast lines, jumps, drops, g-outs, burms, a 10 minute shuttle, killer views and sweet weather. rode snakeback to jump line, and two snakeback to reaper. we barely scratched the surface. couldn't ask for a better time. we headed back after a coffee and stogie break. stopped for some In n out in kingman and made it back home in under 23 hours... the van is sick, come out wed. to get a taste!!! here's some pics...

Awesome trip! Need to make it a 48 hr trip or longer next time. That jagged beast of a hill is bad A$$! Way to much there to ride in even 2 days. I'm jealous of the city and rider organized scene they have there.

Glad to get the taste of BC, NV gnar.....Now I need allot more

Nice. I have got to get up there before it gets hot. Looks like a good mix of stuff to do.

Nice score on the van too, keeps the burgundy color scheme going nicely. lol

The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you'll crash.- Julie Furtado
