For the 19.3% who said they might do BCT today...

I 1) realized that I never actually said what trailhead I was leaving from until late last night, and 2) realized that when I looked at the map Dale posted correctly, the Table Mesa TH was probably the closer of the two THs.

Not sure if there is a "recommended" direction, but I ended up leaving from the Black Canyon City TH. Got about 11 miles in, and ran into somebody I knew who started at Emery (sp?) and heading to BC, so I went back with them

All I have to say is "wow." What an amazing trail. The scenes were amazing, the trail was incredible well maintained, and the temps were awesome.

Anyway, if you happened to have gone out, and the off chance went to Table Mesa, sorry about that...

Here is what I ended up doing:
    http://connect.garmin.com/activity/63971320

I did my best to do the Dale-recommended route. I will say that once I crossed the fire road for the last time, the trail demeanor really changed. What started out as nice, hard packed trail, turned into loose, chewed up, with lots of baby heads. It beat my body up.

Looks like if you would have gone a little farther, you could have made the Little Pan Loop.
