    Thanks for the comments, everyone ! All the credit goes to Trigirl on this one. How she got that good of a picture with a crappy little point and shoot, I will never understand.
    All I had to do was stand there and resist the vertigo you feel when standing on an edge with your eyes closed !

    I'm guessing the wind was blowing inward on that day.... looks to be about 3500-4000' AGL, but hard to estimate without civilization for reference...

    Luckily, there was no wind on that day. Not sure of the elevation but I would say 4000' is probably fairly accurate.
