    Wrist Protection
My wife is a rank beginner and very timid on downhills. On of her fears is she has wrist problems. Some kind of wrist guard that wouldn't interfere too much with her grip.

    Any suggestions?

Please don't say "learn how to fall".

I Love Triple 8 wrist guards, they run snug, but I use instead of padded gloves. Lightweight & you can throw in the washer to clean.

    Try my suggestion...
I've had bad wrists for many, many years, so, I've been using these wrist guards (which I found after my surgery late last year)... LOVE them!! They have 2 inserts, so, you can semi-customize the amount of maneuverability.

PS: before finding the braces, I was (and still am) using these grips to help keep my wrists in a neutral position (not sure if that's a concern).

With both, I can ride for consecutive days, for many miles/hours without issue... Both Trail and DH (including bike parks - no, the grips don't cause issue with being able to "handle" the bike).

    Good Luck.
