    Womens shoes/wide feet...

Are there wide cut mtb shoes for women? My wifes foot is 7 1/2, but she usually has to go 8 due to width in most shoes. This will be her first mtb shoe. Any brands a little on the wider side? Any cut thin to stay away from? She's liking the Shimano M021. Any input would be appreciated. Cheers!

If you have wide feet, I'd just avoid women's shoes in general, but it's whatever fits.

Me too. I have Sidi Mega's in a 42 (for my roadbike - I'm still too dangerous on a Mtb to try clipless there yet!) I have to buy New Balance men's sneakers to get an EE or EEEE, so I had to cough up the extra bucks for Sidi's to get the wide.( Of course almost NEVER on sale )
Again, this won't help your wife though, as the Mega's don't go lower than about 41-42.
