    Women's Body Armor

Can one of you ladies refer me to a place online or in the Los Angeles area to purchase body armor? Is there anything for women or is it all men specific? I was at Fontana watching the downhill races last week and even saw one of the women racers with pink leg armor, was just awesome!!

Thanks in advance for your help!

the pink armor is Rockgardn. I have a full set of the stuff and have been very happy with it.

This has been discussed a bunch over the last few months:

The leg armor is great - super comfortable, great to ride in, and hey, it IS pink. gotta love it.

If you're looking for full body protection, the Dainese jackets are geat - they run a little smaller (even come in XS). They can be a bit pricey, but you can search around online for prevoius year models...

For leg armor, SixSixOne Race Light size small fits well! I know it's not the pink, but it's another option.

That's everything I wear out at Fontana!

    Body Armor

Excellent! I like to hear from the DH girls who actually use the armor! I go to the DH races and watch my girlfriend's husband and his buddies race and always pay close attention to the women as well. All of you ladies riding the waterfall.........wowwwwwwwwwwww!! Great stuff, very impressive, however a bit scary to watch. I hope maybe in a year or so I can attempt to tackle the course as well.

Last weekend I just wore my 661 Race knee/shin and elbow/forearm. I fell once and somehow my knee ended up a little scratched, but otherwise I was okay. Er, that and the bruises I'm 5'9 and wear the Small's, though. Unfortunately was not able to make it to the actual race. Hubby got a concussion on the last practice run of the morning, so we went home early.

    Fontana

Ouch! Head injuries not good! So sorry to hear. Hope he is recovering! I can't wait to see the course for the final race at Fontana. I hope they make it extra knarly, soooo much fun to watch! And of course I learn a lot too watching body position, turning, etc.
I am going to Sea Otter too and Firestone. It will be very interesting to see the differences in the courses.
