Widening cleat rails of carbon-soled shoes anyone?

Guys, does anyone here have experience in widening the cleat rails of carbon-soled shoes a bit so they can support more crooked feet then originally intended for? Just got a new set of shoes. Cleat angle is OK, but is already on its limit and would be better if I could get a little more angling there. Just sandpaper it? Thanks!

    like CC sez . . .

Dremel is fine, just be careful and don't take to much material from the center beam . . . .

id even go as fas as tapein off the exposed carbon before i started and not dremel into it under the rubber, just go far enough to clear the cleat.

Thanks guys!! No dremel in the house. Used a file. Removed a tiny amount from each of the 4 sides. Seems to have done the trick. Thanks.

What kind of shoe is pictured? I like a straight lasted shoe and that appears to be one.

I heard if you trade in your frame for a Titus, you get a pair of those very shoes...free!!
...although, they only come in one size.

Looks like a Specialized. I kinda like their body geometry fit...they fit very well.

Specialized Trail 120. 3/4 tall shoe.

They have a 110 shoe which seems to make much more sense, but for some reason the local importer decided that both cost the same here, so...
