    Who makes single compartment jerseys?

Every lbs I've been thru only has those 3 tiny compartment in the back jerseys.

Who makes a large single compartment in the back jersey?

    no one.

you can use a seam ripper and modify existing jerseys to make pockets bigger

Interesting, didn't think of that. Now need to find one deep enough. They are usually pretty shallow as well.

What are you trying to fit back there?

The "3 pocket" type are set to be just big enough that you can put a bottle in each pocket.

As for me, I wouldn't rip the seams out to make 1 big pocket because that seems to me like it'll make the pocket flap around and if you put something big enough in there, it'll stretch out and flap even more.

When it comes down to it, I prefer jerseys that don't have those old roadie pockets (that's where they come from, anyway). I like it when mtb jerseys have little zip pockets in convenient to access locations for small stuff like food, my car key, or whatever.

I recently picked up a Primal shop-branded jersey based on this one:

    https://www.primalwear.com/collectio...ade-mtb-jersey

I REALLY like it. I have a really old Primal jersey from the 90's and thought their fabrics back then were too heavy. But the fabric on this one is dialed. The cut is great, too. And I like the pocket placement on it. They're even accessible WITH a pack on.

I did order the primalwear jersey. I also tried to order the garneau jersey, but their web page would not let me put in a billing address outside of Canada. I tried Chrome and Safari. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Royal Racing does. The one I have with a pocket has one on the side that's zippered.

I've got a Royal Jersey also. It's got one big zippered rear pocket.
