POC make some all white helmets. Very little info out there but they were a well established company in the skiing/wintersports business. Theyre expensive and people dont like them cause they look so plain, I love the look of them.

Sixsixone's white legend isn't all white, but it's been working pretty well for me as far as not getting too hot in the sun.

I think having a well vented helmet might be more effective than white. Though I do see your point, sure it might make it cooler, but a white poorly vented helmet is going to as much a pain in the ass as a black poorly vented helmet.

Look up the Giro Remedy, I just scored one brand new still in the box with tags on ebay for 49.99 with free shipping. They run 160.00 msrp and are a pretty sick helmet in white.

super light, double shell and I believe the only helmet that is designed and approved to withstand multiple impacts.

I guess you have to ask, what is your head worth ?

How much was that Leatte Brace any way ?

Seriously, am I the only one that thinks the shells of those helmets look a little awkward?

Giro Remedy. That's all you need. They have a ton of vents that actually work, opposed to the Azonic Fury (I had one for a year). The vents are big and open with a little mesh to keep the bugs and sticks out. I don't think the color is really going to make a difference when you consider that the helmet is mainly foam... An insulator! More vents= A lot cooler. ttyl, Fahn

ah wow my full face is matte black, just wondering tho, would a helmet being white compared to black actually make that much of a difference?

Well yeah. Black = absorbs heat. White = reflects it.

Black also = better radiator of heat. According to "theoretical" physical laws, it's a wash. I see more seagulls (white) at the coast where it is cooler and often overcast, and more crows (black) inland where it is sunny and much warmer.

But then, maybe that's because seagulls are cool and crow are not.

If there was nothing between the shell and ones head, the black shell would absorb, and retain, more heat energy. The foam inner shell negates this. Find a helmet with properly designed ventilation.
The suspension of your bike sucks if it's different than mine. Really. It sucks. Big time.
