yeah i almost wonder if its photoshopped. someone on here posted some sick pics of there trip to the desert, and there was some creepy cliffs there too. i think in my rookie stage of riding i will stick to nice trails with cushy grass on both sides

I guess it's all in the head, but there is no way I would ride that.

Its not Photoshopped. Its Hans Rey off some cliffs in Ireland some point last year (if I remember right). They were buffetted by high winds plus rather hung over as they were also doing a pub tour.

In fact, go to the bottom here: http://www.hansrey.com/

That photo gives me that open-cavern-in-your-stomach feeling just looking at it.

I'd never ride something like that.
    Meh.

Those aren't camelpacks on their backs, they are parachutes...................

Or, at least they should be When my wife says anything about being careful or getting hurt crashing, I'll show her those and say "at least I dont ride that"

To be honest, most of the local trails in Hawaii are like that. Skinny, wet/slippery, root infested trails with cliff drop of thousand fee on either side.

The hung over part though, I can't duplicate

I'd definitely ride that... but extremely slowly lol. I love the line at the bottom: "Wouldn't a parachute be a better idea?" That would be an amazing ride.. just pray that there isn't an earthquake.

EDIT: Nevermind, I wouldn't. In the third picture the rock he's on looks like its about to fall off the cliff and the last pic would make me crap my pants.

It looks like the second rider is dabbing in that last photo. Doooooooh!

Hans Rey is amazing. I bet he could ride The Narrows (Henry Coe) without getting wet. (Note I wrote 'ride' and not 'hike'!)

I bet most of you guys have already seen this but maybe some of you haven't. Watch the video its freakin insane. http://www.mountainbikebill.com/MilesCrash.htm

Yet another reason not to go clipless. Apparently the helmet did matter though.

Seen the video, but never the other stuff. Thanks for posting! It's interesting to hear that the waterpack saved his spine, since I never thought about that.
