Semi-soft sole, mid-top for ankle protection, arch support and heel padding.
Current fav is Nike Air Mogan Mid.

Jump it onto something off of something or over something.

There's more to freeriding than dirt jumps.

ancient 661 duallys. they don't make it with a flat grippy sole any more. had good grip, actual hard plastic inserts in the ankle areas. saved me a ton of pain, especially on the unicycle. love them, and they're starting to wear out, eventually need new.

5.10s suck for street/dj use. Too sticky.

Vans Rowley XLIII and some other pair... They have polka dots and a car on them. It's an off the wall compound.

i have some sette bmx shoes with a really stiff sole that has a spd mount. unfortunately tho the rubber is ripped off in several places so theres almost no traction left. i needed a new pair like 6 months ago

just looked at pricepoint and jensonusa, nothing...can someone recommend a bmx shoe with a stiff sole for $50?

5.10 Freeride. Look and feel more like Vans than their other DH (Impact) shoes.
