df, I'm using N17 (Wellgo) mags at the moment and find them pretty good...probably not as much grip as Burgtec or Straitline but they are not bad and weigh under 400g. Probably will get the new lighter Burgtec's when available.?

i ordered the mg1s a few hours ago so ill see how they turn out, i have wellgo b38s on my stumpjumper and i like them, thease are for my sxt im sure theyll be fine,

as for the gloves ive held back on them because they dont seem to have any protection for the heel of your hand, right now im using plastic skater wrist guards over my gloves, i had a crash a few months back went over the bars came down on my hand, everything still worked but it took literally 2 months for the pain to leave the heel of my hand, im a pro guitarist for a living and i need to take precautions, the skater wrist guards protect very well but theyre not comfortable, i'll keep my eye out for alternatives

you could look into the 661 wrist wrap race, 661 wrist wrap pro, or the EVS wrist wraps. Apparently the wrist wrap pro from 661 is the exact same as the EVS wrist wrap, but EVS came out with it first. However, as an owner of the 661 wrist wrap pro I would suggest going with the EVS Wrister. That is my next try at protecting my wrists.
