    Time for new shoes

    Best MTB shoes for under $70 budget is tight.

    I got some "661 experts" a while back, on sale at jenson.com for ~$50. Light, stiff shoe, but the biggest they make is a 48....I need a 49. You'd probably want to replace the footbed...as with most footware, the stock footbeds are crap.

    find 'em on sale. That budget will put in recreation hiking/biking shoes. If you are looking for more shoe, many online places closeout shoes, look for a closeout in your size.
    Oh sh!+ just force upgraded to cat1. Now what?
    Best thing about an ultra marathon? I just get to ride my bike for X hours!

    I had a pair of 661 stingers that were about $50 and last me 5 seasons of hard riding. I recently replaced them with some Northwave Lizards, they were about $75 on sale,
    Vermonter - bikes, beers and skis.
