    are these decent shoes?

    http://www.blueskycycling.com/produc...ally-Shoes.htm

Platform shoes/pedals are a bit of a new thing to me. I've got an old bike set up with platforms, currently using Old Navy Vans knock-offs for shoes, which work better than I would have thought, but they are starting to fall apart, and I've been wondering about shoes meant for bikes. Then I saw these, price looks good, they have my size, and they don't appear to be real/natural leather (which is a requirement for me, don't ask).

    Any thoughts?

I have some 661 SPD shoes but I never installed cleats and left the rubber over the hole. The advantage was that the sole was very rigid and was great for pedaling. I once forgot my shoes and used my regular shoes. They totally sucked in comparison! Really floppy, I was used to the rigidity. The bottom also really grips the pedals.

I have 661 Tiburon mtb shoes that I wear almost daily for the last year and they have been awesome and still have lots of life. These exact ones, I don't know.
