    Teva Links

    Has anyone tried these yet?
I need a new pair of shoes since my skate shoes are loosing their grip and these look interesting. It is between these and maybe some other skate shoe looking shoes with stealth rubber.

No I haven't looked yet. I was looking at the Fiveten free rider since my lbs has them in stock. In general I prefer a skateshoe styled mtb shoe that has good grip for platform pedals. The tevas came to mind because I saw them in an ad on the side of this site and also in a magazine.

i have an older pair of fivetens and got the Vans as an extra pair cuz sometimes skate longboards after a ride. the vans have their homegrown "stealth" rubber too. Not as sticky as 5.10s but I would bet identical to the Tevas. It's got a little more flex in the soles than a pair of Impacts so good to jump with.
the Tevas do look nice. pair 'em with some Lenosky Straitlines and you'll have his sig set-up!

I have the pinner from Teva. Much stiffer than skate shoes. And they do grip the pedals but not too much that you cannot move your feet. Overall very satisfied with them.
