Terraduro vs HV (coming from X-Alp Enduro)

What I do like about the X-Alp Enduro is the overall width for my fairly flat and a little wide feet, and its awesome for walking around in off the bike.

I tend to do all-day rides these days and really need a somewhat stiffer riding shoe but still good for HAB.

Tried on the latest standard-width Terraduro today. A little slimmer/tighter mid-to-front. Quite a bit stiffer than the PI which I liked; walking around seemed pretty good.

Is anyone familiar with just how much wider (and taller?) the HV model is?

    I've ridden all three.

The difference in volume between the Terraduro and the HV is fairly small but noticeable. For reference, I was wearing a 44.5 Terraduro but moved down to a 44 in the HV.

Compared to the Pearl Izumi, i'd say the HV was slightly roomier in the toe area, which is where I typically have issues with shoes.

I also like how the tread around the heel area on the Terraduo is lower profile than the Pearl Izumi's, so I get less crank arm rub when pedaling.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

Interesting you went down half a size on the HV.

Would you say the mid-foot area is a little wider across than the standard also?

And is the heel width/fit about the same between the two?

(Currently using a 44 Enduro. The 44 Terraduro in standard width had a good length for me).
