    Stolen TLD custom PAINTED HELMETS

    CUSTOM PAINTED HELMETS

    Troy Lee Designs is offering a $2,000 reward for the return of 3 custom painted helmets or any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the theft of these collectible helmets stolen from the Troy Lee Designs showroom on December 1st, 2006.

    1. Jeff Ward’s blue 1989 Shoei VFX Motocross des Nations helmet
    Special Features: Uncle Sam on top along with: “Oakley”, “I Want You”, “Shoei” and “Ward” on the visor



    2. Ricky Johnson’s blue 1988 Bell Moto III Motocross des Nations helmet

    Special Features: “Bad Boy Club” logo on top, #2’s in red on the sides, and the American flag on the visor



    3. Mike Metzger’s Bell - the original flying eyeball full face
    Special Features: A stubby blue and purple flame visor, and silver leaf #1 speed wing on the back



    Please be aware that these particular helmets are one of a kind works of art,

    and are of substantial value to TLD, as well as the riders who own them.

    Any awareness of these items on any public auctions should be reported immediately to TLD.

    He probably has pictures of the helments because they were worn in competition, and also probably for insurance reasons. His contact info states that he works for Troy Lee Designs.

    I'm a TroyLee dealer, and when i received the e-mail from than, the pix were attached to the e-mail, but i was haven problems loading pix, I will do it to night when i get home.
    TLD, have being really good to our sport and if there is any help any of us can provide it will be appreciated and rewarded!

    did you not read how old the helmets are in the original post. they're not new.
