    'Sport' Cycling Shoes?

I just picked up a pair of Cannondale Roam's at REI - they're a lot like a trail running shoe w/ midtops, wide grippy soles, and not terribly stiff. But I put them on here at the house and I'm not sure I like them so much, but I need a pair for biking the Colorado Trail, so that I don't have to carry a pair of hiking shoes too. What is everyone else using?

I personally used Specialized Mtn Sport. Stiff and allowed me to hike when needed. However, my "hikes" weren't anything more getting over a tough obstacle and then getting back on the bike. If you do a lot of hiking the shoes you got are probably perfect for you. If they are fine while you ride don't worry about what you "could" have be happy with what you have. The Roam's look like a fine shoe that would be great for rough country riding or touring.
