New question here. skate style helmets

    hey guys ( and gals).
recently on the tv i saw a short interview with a pro bmx freestyler. when he showed his helmet i liked what i saw. it was a skate style helmet but it was really light and flexible. the plastic was about a milimetre thin and then it had some padding but not the thick foam wall that is most helmets.
i hoping that someone one could tell me which brands make these helmets.
    cheers

    sounds a bit sketch...
i know protec has one like that i think its the Pro Tec Bucky Lasek

"The original Pro-tec 1970’s helmet with Bucky’s own personal styling. A comfy two stage liner, iconic shell, stainless steel rivets, soft tubular webbing and a sticker sheet of Bucky’s sponsors complete this world renowned package.

    SIZES: S | M | L | XL
Not Certified: (These helmets use 2-stage foam that does not meet certification standards and should only be used for skating)"

    usually you want certification...

Triple 8, and Pro-tec are the first companies that come to mind.

The Berns look like they'll heat up real fast in the summer. Protec makes skate-style bike helmets that are pretty well ventilated and according to claims on their site, they're made to withstand multiple impacts.

my Bern macon is a sweet lid. It might heat up a teeny bit more than some of these other lids, but its super lightweight and fits excellent.

    Definately buying another one.

the bern macon with the Brock foam is super nice, and it doesn't get hot at all, but the brock foam doesn't pass "helmet" sdandards so its technicaly a "hard hat"

Bern "hard hat" here. Perfect for DJ and park. Light, fits well, not too hot...
