Sidi shoes generally fit a little bigger or smaller? (comparatively)

    (I wear Shimano size 44)

I've always worn Shimano shoes. However, once while shopping and trying some Sidi shoes I forget if a Sidi shoe was 1 size bigger or 1 size smaller compared to my standard Shimano size 44. I'm thinking the size 45 Sidi was closest to an "actual" 44 Shimano (or other way?). I do positively remember that the 44 Sidi didn't fit me.

Keep in mind, I'm not asking about size chart paper specs.

It's been a while since I bought shoes, but I do own two pairs of Sidi. One fits slightly on the big side, the other small. They're the same size and one feels too tight and the other is comfy as can be. Sorry, I scored these 6-7 years ago. I don't remember the models.

    Thanks C

Yeah, thats weird about one fits large while the other fits small.

However, I've since bought another pair of Shimano (its all I've ever bought) from Performance. Since they usually fit me so well I didn't want to take any chances.

ps. Been a while since I've seen you post.
