    shoes and pedals?

    i just got the trek 4300 the wellgo pedals are okay but just riding around little grass hilss my feet tend to slip could it be cause im using flat bottom jordans. i dont want to change pedals yet but im willing to maybe try some some cheap SB shoes if not my last resort will be maybe this i have heard good stuff about these shoes but ill just wait till i take out the trek this week for the first time on a real trail !

    You can't go wrong with the stealth rubber on 5.10's. It's amazing how sticky it is. You really won't regret getting a pair.

    Stock pedals don't have all that much traction either and they are small. Stickier shoes should help in any case.
