    shoes for flat pedals

Any velcro or non shoelace shoes for mountain biking, that have a good tread for hike a bike moments? For flat not clipless pedals.

I bought the Performance Traverse II shoe for $25 on sale and it has a fairly aggressive sole pattern. I have two pair, one that I used for clipless and another I just kept for flats. The rigid sole also helps with flat pedals as well. I like the black/gray/silver color scheme as well because it cleans up well without permanent stains like brown suede would show.

I'm sure there are few other shoes out there but for the price, you might take a look at it.

I can post a picture of the sole if you are interested since their website only shows the top of the shoe.

I highly recommend the 5.10 Impact shoes. 5.10 makes shoes for rock climbing and hiking alike and use a specially fomulated rubber called Stealth that is super tacky and sticks to pedals and teraform like glue.
