    shoes for big feet

I would like to make the move to clipless pedals, but I wear a size 14 (I believe that is a size 49). I cannot seem to find a shoe that fits...anyone know of a model that comes that large?

    Thanks in advance,

    ZH

Unfortunately Shimano and most others seem to have a maximum size of 48. Check Lake out however:

They appear to have a size 50. I don't know much about there shoes, having never tried them but they might serve your purpose. Changing to clipless was a great revelation for me.
    Good luck,
    Ronnie.

P.S. Just had a look at Specialized at:

Their sizing claims that 48 is equivalent toa US mens14. You could check them out too.

I also wear a size 14 dress shoe. I found the Pearl Izumi Vagabonds at my LBS in a size 48, and they fit great. The toe box is nice and large, and there is plenty of toe room (a 49, at least in this shoe, would be too big). They're not on the high end of the clipless market, but at $75 they're enough for me (a clipless beginner). They make a road version, too (without the dirt cleats).

This link has a shoe chart with some size 14:

Specialized also makes some size 14 shoes.
