daft question but i've never had what you call proper mtb shoes iv,e always worn a good pair of well fitting trail shoes, traners ,crass trainers call them what you will, anyway iv,e just been and bought a pair of specialized taho mtb shoes, the only problem if you can call it that,is the mens shoes did not fit properly so tried the womens on and ey ho brill fit they look the same ,these are grey and a dash of blue, i,ve got normal pedals on eg flat , no clips no straps, or anything else. will these shoes be ok on my pedals and will they be ok for walking in when the going gets tough,or will i have to change the pedals to fit the shoe ,not been out yet on bike only round garden and they felt ok? have still got receipt so can take them back..........what a minefield this buying shoes is.... is it all a con ......

My GF has a pair of Taho shoes, and ride flats with out a problem.

The Stiff sole of the MTB shoe will help make power transfer to the pedals more efficient because your feet will flex less.

    Get out there and ride!
