    Shimano clipless shoe advice

I am gonna try going clipless and I am going with shimano XT pedals, but i am stuck in between the all mountain SPD shoe(sh-am45) or the multi use touring shoe (sh-mt33l). Any advice on which ones I should go with??

mt33L; nice all purpose shoe that works and looks great on and off the bike. I can't get my head wrapped around the pajama footy look of the 45's.

The AM45 looks horrible. I would not be seen dead in that.

    33L is nice allaround shoe.

    I was riding this:

And they were awesome. They are rigid-sole, not as comfortable to walk in them, but for riding they are awesome.

For the XT pedals without cage stick with the rigid sole shoes. The am45 can cause your sole to ache if it's a long ride.

personally id skip shimano shoes. i had the m076's and the soles completely detached from the shoes in 4 months of riding. i have a pair of specs that have been great. i hear lakes and sidis are great too. id just stick with all velcro or boa laces.
