    Sealskinz MTB gloves reliable?

Are sealskinz gloves warm and water proof?

not the ones that i got. i live in the pacific northwest so i'm always on the lookout for a good pair of gloves. was excited to try the 'waterproof' sealskinz and was sadly disappointed. they lasted about an hour before becoming soaked through and very cold. glad i always bring extra pairs this time of year!

so far my best system on days over 40 degrees is to layer regular long-fingered riding gloves with a larger size neoprene glove. when my hands warm up i take the neoprene off and stuff them up my shorts legs to keep warm until my hands get cold again...
