Reccomend me some shoes to try please

Looking for a shoe that is good for walking around and biking. Something commuter friendly, and fairly easy to take on and off.

I find skate shoes are nice to grip pedals though they can be a bit hot. They make SPD versions as well if you commute with clipless.
Don't you hate it when a sentence doesn't end the way you think it octopus?

I think this will be the most common answer. I think most of us that do not ride clipless ride with these type of shoes. Everyone will have their favorite brand so find a pair that's comfortable with a nice flat sole.

I love DC shoes. Unless I'm planning on doing something really gnarly I have them tied so I can slide 'em on and off.

Second on DC. If you really need more grip you could go with 5.10.

FYI - 5.10 shoes are really heavy.

I've got a pair of these http://www.bikepartsexpress.com/C296/SH3235.html from Pearl Izumi and really find them to be a great compromise between a regular running shoe and a cycling shoe...the best of both.....
