    Polyester Flannel

I just picked up a Columbia Omniwick flannel shirt for winter riding. It is just like a cotton flannel shirt but synthetic, and so far I love it. I wear a base layer, maybe a 2nd layer, and then the shirt. My buddies were pulling out jackets after the climbing was done, but this shirt cuts just enough wind so I didn't have to. Without a jacket, I stayed drier as well. I got a large, and it fits a bit loose, which is good with my SWAT bibs. Anyway Columbia isn't the only ones making these, and if you are looking for something more normal looking, I recommend these synthetic flannels.
