    pants for ride then hike

    got wicking long underwear. am planning to change shoes to hike after ride there. maybe 35 degrees. any suggestion on pants that will serve both activities

    Go to Rei and other outdoors places, I wear a cheaper set of cargo pants that have zip off legs and just wear liners underneath. It seems to work well for me in colder months, they also have a bungy garter at the bottom, helps keep them from going into the chain ring.
