    No more Teva link?

    What the heck, went to grab a new pair of shoes, can't find the Teva link anymore?
    They were comfy, decently grippy, and not too$$.

    Thinking DC shoes, or maybe the vans BMX shoes...
    Something other than$100++ five tens?

    Teva only made bike shoes for 1 year, too bad.

    Long gone. There's the adidas Terrex Trail Cross SL if you want something different (it has the Stealth rubber sole).

    Adidas Slack Cruiser also uses Stealth rubber. they have a decently wide toe box and a pretty stiff midsole which makes them better for pedal mashing than some of the 5-10 shoes I've tried.
    Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

    If you're looking for grippy and stiff, the new 5.10 Freerider Pro is worth checking out. I've ridden a bunch of different 5.10s and while grip is pretty comparable, stiffness varies. From least to most stiff it's Freerider -> Freerider Contact -> Freerider Pro.

    Well the DC have a stiff sole, and about the same grip as the Teva link, but they rub the side of my foot weird....
    Grr....

    FYI, Art's cyclery has 20% off Five Tens right now. Just grabbed a pair of Freeriders, plus the vip17 code worked on top.
