    No More Loose Laces

I always tucked my laces into the side of the shoe or under the laces themselves. Big S has an elastic for this, so I improvised one for my 5-10s. Small bungee and a zip tie.

I used to tuck in my laces. But now my mtb shoes have a buckle and my road shoes use the Boa system. New mtb shoes will utilize the Boa system as well

But what you came up with is what many shoe companies are doing with their lace up shoes.

BOA for me for everything not walking around.

especially since BOA has lifetime replacement parts for free.

buy shoe from [whomever] the BOA reel breaks or loses it's hold, go direct
to BOA website say it's broke order part...boom, fresh parts

    love it !!

    for walking around I switch
    everything to these

    No More Loose Laces

Locklaces make my fivetens look ugly, imho.
I’d love for there to be BOA on flat pedal shoes as well, so far the trend is for spd shoes only, and usually for XC and road bike shoes.

I double tie them, seems to work. Not too tight though

the laces on my 5.10's are just short enough that I don't really need to bother with doing anything. they're not long enough to catch on anything, which is nice.

have considered lock laces, but I don't really want the stretchy "give" in my mtb shoes. If someone made a nice flat pedal shoe with BOA, I'd probably check 'em out.

Just feed and stuff the loose lace ends/loops under the crossing laces over the forefoot.

Bontrager Flatliner shoes have the exact same tech (as OP fabed up) built-in.

I was wondering what I was gonna do when the elastic gives up the ghost. Thanks for the solution!
