    New Shoes from Chad

I sold my Chris King Single Speed wheels a few weeks ago so I could make my Riddler a 1x9. I can easily run an ISO rear hub SS as well so this gave me the flexibility I wanted. I already have a set of Stans 355/ Chris King Hubs on the Racer X so why not dress up the Racer X and move those wheels to the SS?

I called Chad and we decided to go Black Stans Olympics, Silver Chris King ISO Hubs, Blackl DT Swiss Revolutions (Front and Non Drive Rear), Black DT Swiss SuperComp (Drive Side rear), Silver Alloy Nipples, and Brass Nipples (Drive Side rear).

Big thanks to Furrner, he's a kick ass wheel builder. I should get to try them out Sunday if things go well. These things are sweet looking and came in at 1562 grams.

Looking good, Trey. To give you a comparison, your wheels are 62g lighter than my 4.1/King/Revolution/Alloy wheelset ... not to mention stronger with the Supercomp/Brass drive side.

I'm 160 lbs and just race/ride XC. I wouldn't say I pick the graceful line though.

Understood... it seems like an appropriately light build.... I was just wondering, besides the wheelbuilder is usually a bigger factor than the parts themselves (parts are still important though)

    Enjoy those blingy light wheels!

    Classic American-American Classic

Wheels are getting expensive these days. I'm finding it hard to justify spending more than the $599 list price for American Classic Disc 350 wheels. Other than that they only come in black and white.
700g front, 815g rear, ready to ride out of the box. Straight gauge spokes. If only they had a red hub!

This large Motolite is sitting at a shade under 26 pounds with a heavy 2.35 Panaracer Rampage on the front.
I'm thinking 25.25 if I can find the Panaracer Razor and lightweight tube I set aside for it.

    How are those rampage tires??

They look like they might hook up well and possibly be a good front tire as well.

Problem with AC's aside form breakage is their engagement lacks something to be desired for the price tag. For $600 It's CK and I9 for me or we better be talking 1300grams

I'm happy to report the weight was actually with the SS driveshell and the weight with the right driveshell is 1508g for the wheelset.
