I may or may not have seen the videos that may or may not have been posted. If I did see the videos, which I'm not saying I did, I enjoyed 'em!

I can neither confirm nor deny that I will seek out these trails next time I'm in Tahoe.

    The Unknown
    As we know,
    There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
    We also know
    There are known unknowns.
    That is to say
We know there are some things
    We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
    The ones we don't know
    We don't know.

For the sake of the trail, by the people who built it.

It was a good video and it looks like a fun trail.

I'm all for respecting builders wishes though. Maybe next time post up the video with no names or indications where/what it is????

    cheers

    Bummer I missed it!

Yeah, just as a rule of thumb....it's good to leave trail names off the video, video filenames and any descriptions if they're considered in "gray areas". We usually put something vague like "pacific northwest". Folks that know a trail will obviously recognize it, but it helps keep a lot of the riff raff off them would never find it otherwise.

One way to endear yourself to the builders again is by moving some dirt on a build day. I give folks a LOT of latitude if they've helped build with us in the past.

    Cheers,
