What style of helmet? I love my Fox Proframe and would highly recommend it. I haven't bought a new half shell in years though so would be no help with those.

Kali helmets work pretty well for my noggin. I have a Maraka and it works pretty well. Light with plenty of vents.

Is is a question noone can answer for you. It's silly to even try. Everyones head is different and you just have to try some on.

I haven't tried a Bell in years, but when I was first looking, they had a pressure point on the top of my head that hurt even just trying them on- fit my wife perfectly.

For light weight and comfort, I'm still rocking my Uvex XP100. However, the Smith helmets have been some of the most comfortable helmets that I've tried on recently, weight aside.

But I do agree with the comments above that fit is the most important issue and the will vary person to person.

I bought a Giant, based on a review on a Brit website, and I love it.
