    Making MX gloves sticky?

I just got 2 pairs of gloves..one for MTBing the other for MX...the MX glove is from One Industries...I like the MTB glove but its thin and I got a feeling it wont last long...the MX gloves seems more heavy duty..but its not as grippy as the MTB glove..is there anyway of making the MX glove more sticky?

the MX glove is not for MX...I only ride MTB bikes...I got the MX glove cause it was on sale...but the glove seems to be more durable than my MTB glove...but the MX glove isnt as grippy as the MTB glove...I was just wondering if there was something out there that could make the glove a bit more grippy.

The palm will soften up after a few rides and should provide more than sufficient grip.

Permatex® Flowable Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer

I recently used flowable silicone to put a dashed gripper strip on the top hem of a pair of knee warmers. It is very similar to the gripper strips/patterns used on cuffs and gloves. It is much softer then regular silicone sealant and I highly recommend giving it a try.

I have no idea how well it will last, but it is very promising.

I suggest starting off with a very narrow tip and experiment on a scrap of fabric. You may want to apply a second bead if the first soaks in.

It is available locally at auto parts stores.

Great advice here. It's like a MTBR Mensa reunion up in this thread. If uber grip is necessary, try those rubber-dot gloves from Lowe's/HD.
