New question here. lightweight helmet light to compliment my bar light

I bought a 15W bar mounted Jet Starfire for night riding. I love the light and it works great, but I'd like to get a lightweight helmet light to compliment it when I do some offroading.

I considered the jet i6 helmet light, but I'd like to get something lighter (and cheaper) if possible.

    Any suggestions?

Jet lights are great, I just picked up the phantom single beam 12w for $200 with 3:20 hrs burn time, almost as good as a HID for half the price.
This light is much lighter than my old light (10W Nashbar).
From my experience it is better to have the brighter and more direct light on the helmet and light more flood like on the bars.

Where did you get the Phantom for $200?

    if I recall

Jet lights weigh a staggering 2oz, you want lighter? Why?

The Jets are about as light weight as they get. I prefer the 12v lights better than the 6v.

I got the Phantom at this site. 10% off + free shipping + no tax = $211.50 out the door.

I just looked at the site and it looks like they still have the same promotion.

    Opps almost 200.

follow all the steps for all the discounts it can get confusing.

you should look at turbocat. they're a little cheaper than jet, but still very high quality: just less bells and whistles.

As far as I'm concerned Jet and Turbocat make the best light systems out. The emphasis on them is reliability rather than gimmicks, and when you're 10 miles out in the woods in pitch blackness, that's all that matters.

I got a turbocat dualsource system (included both a helmet and bar light) and have been very happy with it thus far.
