    Light weight lower leg cover?

Just got a nasty case of poison oak, my 3rd in under a year and a half. The really bad news is that because it gets worse with every exposure, I'm putting myself at risk of some nasty secondary infections (especially considering my day job). While Ivy Block is certainly an option, I think a lightweight, breathable cover for my lower legs (or even a full length tight that is lightweight) would be the better and safer option. I'm looking for breathability and comfort, as I'll be wearing these in the spring and summer.

    Recommendations?

Long socks? Another option, I guess...

I wore some baggy pants once and the pants got caught in the front cassettes and ripped a lot and i think the cloth getting stuck made the bike slow down suddenly i still have the pants and if i dont cuff them i look a little like ace ventura after he gets attacked by the shark, thats not snowflake !

I wear compression socks and then gforce need pads to protect my legs , I have real bad varicose veins and the slightest scratch and I have blood running down my leg ..the compression sock may help from direct contact

If you want a bit of padding in the mix for crashes:

    PRO-X Knee-Shin Combo | G-Form

If you just want a bit of fabric:

Voler: Sol Skin Leg UV Protectors

If you can find a tall sock that's light enough to not be too hot that would work as well.

    Good luck!
    Safe riding,
