    Light Shoes, Helmuts etc....

    Hey guys.
My blue Shimano 220 size 45.5 shoes weigh 914 grams a pair ,Giro havoc helmet is 273 (300 with visor), and 50oz camelback Hydroback 314 with bladder. Thats almost 3 1/2 lbs. Anyone got suggestions for lighter stuff?

Bike a little bit longer each day and lose 3.5 pounds. Really though, I dont think 3.5 pounds should make much of a difference in your endeavors unless you are racing, in which case you wouldnt be using a camelback prolly anyways. There arent really any extra light shoes/hemlmut/camelback on the market. I mean 50 oz of water is always gunna weigh 50 oz.

I agree with the first guy.I don't think it'll make any difference weight wise but they are really nice helmets.

Actually there are extra light shoes. Custom even (235g per shoe size 40):

Those are nice shoes though.I wouldn't get rid of them unless they're worn out.
