Leatt 3df airfit & neck brace compatibility?

I just purchased a leatt 3df airfit body armor and a DBX 6.5 brace. With the body armor there is a removable rubber u shaped piece velcroed on the back and a removable pad under it. Do these both need to be removed to use the brace with it? There were no instructions with the body armour so Im just guessing at this stage, the brace doesn't fit to we'll with the padding in.

I had a better look at the box and on one of the sides it has the instructions for use with a neck brace. Remove the Rubber U shape piece and remove the padding. The brace fits quite well like this and shouldn't move around to much. Cant wait to test out my new setup on the weekend I think i have more than enough protection.

    -Fox Pro Carbon Helmet
    -Fox Goggles
    -Leatt DBX 6.5 neck brace
    -Leatt 3DF Airfit Body Armor
-Allsport Dynamics OH2 speed wrist brace
    -Fox Gloves
    -TLD Padded under shorts
    -Leatt 3DF ext knee/shinn guards
    -Fox socks
    -5 10 shoes
    -TLD long gersy and pants.

This is a big upgrade from what i started DH with which was just a soft set of fox knee pads, helmet and gloves. Im getting to old for this sport so with some luck this gear will help me enjoy the sport a little longer.
