    Lake MX305 vs MX165 shoes

Been using the MX165's for a couple of season now and they are pretty worn out. Great shoe but kind of hefty. Anybody have any pedal time with the MX305's? Can anyone tell me the different between the 2 shoes? I can get the 165's for about $90 and the 305's for $126. Of course their website is of no use.

I love the 305s- heavier but tougher than the 165s. They're a great AM shoe with good protection from side scrapes when rolling through rock gardens. The treads stick well for hikeabike sections.
    Strongly recommend them.

If you want to go cheap the lake 225 at CBO at 70 are hard to beat for the traction and durability. Loads of rubber where you need it.
