    Knee protection, light versions?

I'd like to find something like neoprene level protection, maybe a touch more.

Neoprene level protection? So you mean like knee warmers?

Otherwise, check out G-Force knee pads. They same to be getting some rather good reviews for a light weight knee pad.

I'm going to have to jump on the G-form bandwagon as well... I just picked some up last week and forget that I'm even wearing them within 5 minutes of riding. I haven't wrecked in them yet, so no comment on how well they protect, however I've seen positive reviews.

Check out some of the stuff that POC makes. A touch expensive, but I have not seen/used a product they make that I don't like.

G Form seems to get great reviews. They are 10% off at Performance Bike today but just in yellow it seems. We just picked up TSG Nose Dive Timo Knee Guards - Normal Shipping Ground for about $10.50 before shipping.
